SANDY BEACHES:-
Aberdovey to Tywyn is a fabulous stretch of sandy beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach in at Aberdovey itself in the summer months, but further along there are two laybys where you can park and walk across the golf links through the dunes onto the beach.
Catch the bus or train from Aberdovey to Tywyn then walk back along the beach looking at the fabulous views inland along the Dyfi valley.

Look across from Aberdovey to Ynyslas, another fabulous sandy beach. Here you can drive your car onto the beach and park. Dogs and horses welcome there all year round.

There are sandy beaches to the north, stretching from Barmouth to Porthmadog.
